A futuristic 110 metre superyacht concept, complete with a basketball court and party deck, has been revealed by the new design studio Piredda & Partners.
The studio, which is founded by the winner of BOAT International’s 2018 Young Designer of the Year Award Nicolò Piredda, presented the project named Now.
Key features include a 15.6 metre beam, sporty exterior lines and modern appearance, with a superstructure connecting three decks inside full glass housing.
Speaking about the design, creative director Nicolò Piredda said: "The upcoming years hold a new way to go through the design process where designers will reconsider volumes, heights, proportions, as well as a new way of living aboard and new flows while keeping functionality as first priority. The design result is on a whole new level."
Inside the 4135GT interior is a massive double-height grand saloon, complete with floor to ceiling windows. Elsewhere, the yacht features a 75 square metre cinema, large heli-lobby and a basketball court on the forward deck. A party deck sits on top of the vessel while the owner’s stateroom sits on the private bridge deck.
The rest of the guest accommodation, enough for 18 guests, comprises four VIP suits on the main deck and four guest cabins on the lower deck. The crew area meanwhile will accommodate a total of 41 crew members and four staff.
The interior design is described as a “rare ethnics style” that “merges refined materials from all around the globe in a pure tribute to nature”.
“The feeling breathed walking through these spaces is elegant but informal with a variation of open spaces, intimate corners, and private exclusive areas,” said Piredda & Partners' head of interior design Federico Lo Giudice.
