For more than two decades, Williams Jet Tenders has established itself as a leading manufacturer of luxury jet tenders. But as the expectations of owners evolve, so too is the British brand, marking a bold new chapter with the launch of its superyacht tender range known as Evene.

Evene aims to deliver a more premium and exclusive tender experience across every customer touchpoint. From advanced hull technology to environmentally responsible materials and improved onboard comfort, the series is as much about performance as it is about presence.

“The creation of the Evene brand has been years in the making, so seeing it finally launch and come to life has been hugely rewarding,” says head of marketing at Williams, Tom Dowdell. “We couldn’t be happier with the end result as the brand identity is reflective of our personality, values and commitment to the future. The new brand provides an exciting platform for growth and an opportunity to secure our long-term success in the superyacht tender market.”

Two models have been unveiled in the new range so far. The Origin 57 measures 5.7 metres in length and can transport up to nine guests, making it a perfect fit for superyachts over 30 metres. The larger Origin 71 stretches to 7.1 metres, seating up to 13 guests, and is designed for yachts over 40 metres.

The namesake “Origin” reflects the beginning of something new but also pays tribute to the boatbuilding heritage of founders and brothers Mathew and John Hornsby. It also nods to the brand’s Oxfordshire birthplace, where each boat is still built today. In fact, the series contour deck pattern incorporates local Ordnance Survey coordinates - a subtle reminder of home, no matter where in the world the tender travels.

At the heart of the Origin series is the Petestep hull, an advanced design that improves efficiency and enhances ride comfort. The result is a quieter, softer experience on the water, with better fuel efficiency without compromising on performance. The Origin 57 is powered by a Yanmar 4LV 195hp diesel engine, while the Origin 71 boasts a Yanmar 4LV 250hp engine – both capable of hitting top speeds of 42 mph. Importantly, both are approved for HVO 100 fuel, which can reduce net CO2 emissions by up to 97 per cent compared to traditional diesel.

Onboard comfort has also been a central focus in the design. Guests can step on board with ease thanks to the thoughtfully placed boarding pole, before settling into plush eco-upholstered seating, backed with material made from 100 per cent recycled PET bottles. In place of traditional teak, Williams has chosen responsibly sourced cork decking from regenerative forests as opposed to harmful teak.

The absence of tubes creates significantly more usable onboard space, while a centre console layout allows guests to board from multiple points and move around with ease with secure guardrails. Additional features include an integrated spray dodger and an optional Bimini for protection against the elements, while a Fusion sound system and LED deck lighting ensure guests arrive to and from the shore in style. There is even a bike mount option for guests who like to explore on two wheels once ashore.

At the helm, the crew benefits from a well-considered layout featuring a beautifully designed steering wheel, adjustable helm seating, a 12-inch Raymarine multifunction display and integrated fenders for easy docking.

While renderings reflect the standard design, owners have a wide range of customisation options to tailor the tender to the look and feel of the mothership, from bespoke colour schemes and yacht logo integration to alternative decking and upholstery finishes.

“The launch of the Origin Series is a proud milestone for our team at Evene Tenders,” says commercial director and co-founder of Williams, Mathew Hornsby. “It embodies the passion, craftsmanship and innovation that our team has poured into this project. This tender is a testament to what can be achieved when tradition and exceptional design meet forward-thinking practices, and we are excited to see it set a new standard for sustainability and performance in the industry.”
