Mangusta Yachts, a brand of Overmarine Group, has launched the sixth unit in its entry-level series, the Mangusta 104 REV.
Delivery is scheduled for April 2024, after which the 31.8-metre will be based in the Côte d'Azur to cruise the Mediterranean with her owner.
The model belongs to the shipyard's Maxi Open line and was sold in January 2023, with cooperation from Northrop & Johnson. Courtesy of the shipyard's in-house team and Lobanov Design, her exterior is characterised by sporty, slender lines, a spacious bow and wide glass surfaces.
This unit, much like her predecessors, is built in composite and fitted with two Kamewa waterjets coupled with twin Rolls Royce MTU engines. This will allow her to reach an impressive top speed of 35 knots "in the utmost comfort and without the slightest vibrations", according to a spokesperson for the yard. She has a cruising speed of 25 knots and a range of 320 nautical miles.
She has also been developed with a "special focus on reducing noise and vibrations".
According to BOATPro, Overmarine has 22 yachts currently under construction. This includes two units from the Mangusta 165 REV series, with BOAT International invited on board the series' first delivery last year.
