French designer JG Verges has revealed a 45-metre "Open Sport" concept provisionally known as Project F450.
Project F450 is conceived as a "tribute" to Florida-based Magnum Marine, particularly the brand's signature elongated bow and low-profile, sporty superstructure. The yacht is designed to be easily handled by "experienced boat owners and their family".
Two colour proposals for the project have been released. The first is known as the F450 Legend and sees the yacht painted a deep blue with white trim and classic portholes, modelled after the Sport Open boats of the 70s. Alternatively, the F450 Enzo F is painted ruby red with a black trim and contemporary portholes "for a distinctive European design".
Accommodation is for up to eight guests and four crew, not including the captain. The lower deck would feature all accommodation, the main saloon (with dining), the main galley and tender garage. Meanwhile, the main deck would feature the helm station, a dining area, an outdoor galley and sun pads. Interior details have yet to be disclosed at this stage.
Project F450 is expected to reach an eye-watering maximum speed of 50 knots and a cruising speed of 25 knots.
