Today the ISA yard in Italy announced the signing of a new 50m motor yacht, the third hull of the now successful 50 metre series.
Currently known under the hull number 500.03, this tri-deck superyacht will be built in steel and aluminium with an in-house design in collaboration with Vallicelli Studio. The design of the 500.03 will include the beach club area accessed from the swim platform by two wide curved glass doors. But the ISA trademark aft staircases that linked each deck together from stern to flybridge will be abandoned for a more traditional profile.
Lloyd's classed and MCA compliant, she will accommodate 12 guests in a master on the main deck, and 5 other cabins on the lower deck. On the technical side, she's powered by two 3512C Caterpillar engines developing 2,366hp, allowing a top speed of 17 knots, a cruising speed of 14.5 knots and a range of up to 4,100 nautical miles at 11 knots.
The ISA 500.03 is due for a delivery in July 2012.
