The first 54 metre Gulf Craft Majesty 175 flagship Serenity MRF has been officially handed over to its owner.
The delivery of the yacht comes after it was first premiered in Dubai in May 2021. Serenity MRF first hit the water in November 2020 before undertaking sea trials, on which it reached a top speed of 17 knots throughout extensive testing.
Gulf Craft Chairman Mohammed Alshaali said: "The Majesty 175 is our jewel superyacht, which demonstrates our capability to manufacture trailblazing vessels fully in-house here in the UAE.
"It is a very proud moment to see her leave our facilities and set off on voyages around the globe.”
First announced at the 2016 Monaco Yacht Show, the Majesty 175 took four years to build and is now the largest series composite yacht in the world.
Built using advanced composite materials, the Majesty 175 is designed inside and out by Cristiano Gatto Design Studio, while naval architecture is penned by Yankee Delta Studio.
Accommodation inside the 780GT interior is for a total of 14 guests in seven staterooms, including the owner's suite located forward of the upper deck. The owner's cabin also has direct access to the five-metre infinity swimming pool. Crew accommodation comprises six cabins and a private captain's cabin for a crew of 10.
Power comes from twin MTU engines 12V 4000 M63 for a top speed of 16.5 knots and a cruising speed of 10 knots for a range of 4,000 nautical miles.
