Luxury yacht builder Gulf Craft was founded in 1982 in Ajman, UAE. The company began by manufacturing small fibreglass runabouts and fishing boats, but in 1992, Gulf Craft entered the luxury yacht market with the launch of its Adora 53 motor yacht builder. Luxury yacht builder Gulf Craft launched the 26M Majesty 86 in 1997 and built on its success to open its luxury yacht and superyacht division, Majesty Yachts, in 2003. Today, luxury yacht builder Gulf Craft operates four new yacht production and service shipyards in the UAE and one in the Maldives and reports it is capable of producing 500 vessels per year. Superyacht division Majesty Yachts alone launched three superyachts in a week in January 2015.
