Golden Yachts has launched a 33-metre superyacht known as O'Riana. She is the second project that Golden Yachts has completed with a GRP hull inherited from Cantieri di Pisa, which features the "classical" Akhir line.
All other works were completed in-house, with the superstructure and interior designed by Golden Yachts architect Dimitra Agapitou.
"The yacht was designed to comply with the regulations and satisfy to the fullest degree the needs of even the most demanding owner," explained Agapitou. "The challenge was to create an airy and homey atmosphere; a free plan for a feeling of bigger space, that does not defy the technical aspects and space limitations while remaining detail-oriented."
Accommodation is across two full-beam master and VIP cabins, two twins and an office area with a sofa that can be converted to a double bed. Interiors were fitted in Greece by Italian carpenters and "masters in artisanal wood making and lacquering". Details include dark Eucalyptus furniture, curvy furniture lines and bathrooms made from cream Calacatta marble with "caramel veins".
Highlights include the sundeck, which has been arranged with loose furniture "different to most of the yachts in the same range, providing versatility in use and a feeling of bigger space". A lightweight rollbar has been custom-designed and built with a hidden electrical curtain roll mechanism to provide shade in the dining and lounge area.
"I am thrilled to showcase the culmination of our team's dedication and expertise. Crafting a vessel of this size presented unique challenges, but we embraced them with the goal of maintaining the unparalleled quality synonymous with our work on larger yachts," said project manager John Iliakopoulos.
Powered by twin MTU engines, O'Riana can reach a top speed of 25 knots. She is available for sale through Fraser.
