British tender manufacturer Falcon Tenders has presented a new 10.5 metre limousine tender in collaboration with Italian designer Anna Borla.
Like the existing range from Falcon Tenders, the new limo would have hybrid capacities and all-electric propulsion systems available and would be a custom design intended to accompany a superyacht of 100 metres and over.
The limo tender is the first in a series presented by Mark Pascoe, CEO of Falcon Tenders. Speaking on the collaboration, he said he had always "been driven by fresh ideas and concepts, keeping a keen eye on maintaining the highest quality of engineering and electrical systems." He went on: “This all-new limousine concept keeps us on our path of innovation."
Its design is characterised by a distinctive low profile with vertical bow lights and circular portholes. A strip of glass runs down the centre of the boat, ensuring natural light can flood into the interior, which features elegant leather seating and a mix of wood elements and discreet lighting.
The tender has been envisioned in a cool Arctic blue and would be manufactured from plant-based epoxy resin and faired and painted by hand to superyacht standards. Decking has been strategically curated to enable easy access for the crew from bow to stern without interrupting guests seated inside.
Its designer Anna Borla said: “I wanted to bring a new level of comfort to the guest experience when travelling by limousine tender, from pop-up crystal drinks decanters and a bright, natural ambience to the use of tactile fabrics and materials.”
Earlier this year, Anna Borla presented a new 50 metre concept design called Aria 50. Borla is one of BOAT’s Young Designer of the Year finalists.
The new design comes at a busy time for Falcon Tenders, which recently signed contracts for two full-custom tender projects.
