Mangusta, a branch of Overmarine, has launched the eighth unit in its entry-level GranSport line from its facilities in Viareggio, Italy.
The 33-metre yacht is built in composite to a design by designer Alberto Mancini and Ovemarine Group's technical department and was sold in collaboration between the shipyard and Ale Navarro of HMY Yachts.
The 228GT model is characterised by large glazed surfaces on both the main and the lower deck that "have made this model so successful both in Europe and in the Americas", according to the shipyard.
Extending over 40 square metres, the on-deck owner's suite is the widest built in this class, while two VIP cabins and two guests cabins are located on the lower deck. Thanks to the innovative IPS propulsion system, the yard has been able to reduce the engine room size to benefit onboard livability.
Further onboard highlights include an infinity pool at the stern with an integrated sunbathing area. A spacious aft garage fits a 5.7-metre tender, two water skis and several water toys.
Equipped with four Volvo Penta D13 735kW engines, the yacht can reach a top speed of 25 knots.
The twelfth hull is set to be delivered in summer 2025 and is available for sale. This follows the launched of the sixth unit in Mangusta's entry-level series, the Mangusta 104 REV.
