First Benetti B.Yond 57M superyacht sold

Italian yard Benetti has announced the sale of the first B.Yond 57M, with the contract signed "just weeks" after the model's official presentation at the Monaco Yacht Show.

The B.Yond 57M is the largest hybrid unit in the B.Yond range, featuring exterior lines by Igor Lobanov and interiors by Bonetti/Kozerski Architecture. Three stern configurations are available – named "Beach", "Air" and "Water" – with the owner of the first unit selecting the Beach version.

A 161.8-square-metre beach area is at the heart of this configuration, as is the 15-square-metre pool, with a sliding sofa system that converts the space into a lounge area. The beach area is directly connected to a convertible garage deck, which becomes a 260-square-metre indoor-outdoor lounge when the toys are in the water.

An "innovative" interior layout will have the guest areas placed on the main deck and the main saloon, consequently, on the upper deck. This allows for "memorable panoramic views" through floor-to-ceiling windows and the creation of a 22-metre, uninterrupted open space from bow to stern. Interiors fittings will also be eco-minded, including FSC woods, sustainable fabrics, leathers and stones.

The new model is another stepping stone to Benetti's commitment to achieve zero emissions by 2030, equipped with a hybrid-electric system for "zero-emission cruising" and a direct expansion HVAC system for a reduction in consumption "of up to 80 per cent" compared to conventional water systems.

The Monaco Yacht Show also saw the reveal of Benetti's new B.Loft range, which aims to "revolutionise" the onboard experience with lofty four-metre high ceilings inspired by metropolitan residential spaces.
