Benetti has launched the eighth hull in its B.Now 50 series in Livorno, Italy. Named Amantis, delivery is anticipated for next month – at which time she will join Arcon Yachts' charter fleet.
RWD-designed, Amantis features an "innovative hull" developed in partnership with P.L.A.N.A. Design - Pierluigi Ausonio and Azimut – Benetti's research and development department. She's also the only yacht in the series with a traditional aft deck and large beach area.
While full details are yet to be disclosed, the owner has collaborated closely with the designers, Benetti's style department and the broker on Amantis' "extensive customisation".
Powered by two MAN engines, the yacht can reach a top speed of 15 knots and a range of 4,500 nautical miles when pared back to 10 knots. She is also equipped with electric fin stabilisers.
According to BOATPro, Benetti has five other units in the B.Now 50 series under construction.
