Benetti has released new imagery of the 36.8-metre Motopanfilo motor yacht Legend. The sixth hull in the series was launched from the yard’s Viareggio facility in December. Known provisionally as BMP007, delivery is scheduled for 2024.
Her classic exterior lines resemble the Navetta yachts of the sixties and are designed by Francesco Struglia in collaboration with the yard. Meanwhile, the interior has been penned by Lazzarini Pickering Architects. Accommodation is for up to 10 guests across five cabins. There is additional space for up to seven crew members.

From the lobby, a spiral staircase takes guests up through two decks to the skylounge on the upper deck.
The interiors on the main deck have been designed to suggest the skeleton of a whale, "with the bones producing a sort of spatial rhythm", according to the shipyard. This architecture recalls traditional beams and encourages guests not to focus on bulwarks. It instead allows the extensive lateral glazing to contain the space – "the idea being to create a totally open ambience undisturbed by furnishings".
A range of luxury materials can be seen across the yacht, including Alpi teak on the walls and flooring, Calacatta marble and Antartide pink marble.
Standout features on board include a spacious beach club with a pull-out bar, while a new “grand piano” custom sunpad is located on the sundeck, produced at the request of the owner and designed by Lazzarini Pickering Architects. The colour palette consists of nautical whites and blues, while the Loro Piana fabrics and use of malachite "add another layer of luxe", according to the shipyard.
A Selective Catalyst Reduction (SCR) system has been integrated to align with IMO Tier III regulations. Powered by a pair of MAN V12 engines, the yacht can reach up to 17 knots.
At the Monaco Yacht Show 2023, Benetti announced a new flagship and larger sibling: the Motopanfilo 45M.
