A 48 metre support vessel for the popular charter yacht 72 metre Axioma is under construction at Dunya Yachts.
The catamaran, Bro, is the result of a collaboration between the Turkish yard and Gregory C. Marshall Naval Architecture and was unveiled at the Monaco Yacht Show. Delivery is scheduled for 2023.
Axioma is well known on the charter market and has been popular with a host of celebrity clients. The decision to build the support vessel is in response to the demand to bring extra guests on board.
“Support vessels are the latest trend in the charter market,” says Sara Carpenter from Yachting Partners International, which manages Axioma for charter. “It will make Axioma one of a kind. There is nothing else like her currently available”.
The catamaran will be able to carry an additional ten guests in five cabins and will also be available for solo adventure-based charters. It has been designed with a unique beam ratio, offering twice the capacity of other yachts of a similar size, and will also have its own saloon, gym, spa, Jacuzzi and swim platform.
To accompany its well-stocked toybox Bro will also carry a mini-submarine and has a touch and go helipad. The helipad area can also be transformed into an outdoor disco, open-air cinema, basketball court, tennis court, yoga space or entertainment area. A unique part of the support vessel’s design is that it has four shipping containers on board that can be altered to meet charter clients requests. For example, they can be filled with extra dive equipment or accessories for parties.
Bro will be available to charter on her own from €300,000 per week or in tandem with from Axioma from €800,000 with Yachting Partners International.
