Ray White Marine and Ahoy Club have jointly announced "Australia's largest luxury yacht auction", which is set to see five yachts go under the hammer on 5 August at Jones Bay Wharf in Sydney.

The largest yacht to be sold is the 46-metre Benetti Mistress. The 1990-built vessel was refitted last year and features a custom Versace interior with an Art Deco theme. She was originally set to be sold in a separate auction in 2022, with a reserve price of just $1 (AUS) set by Lloyds Auctioneers & Valuers, but it is unclear whether the auction went ahead.

The 30-metre Sunseeker Chaos will also go under the hammer in Saturday's bidding, with Ahoy Club describing the yacht as one of "the most popular charter vessels on Sydney Harbour with the capacity to charter up to 36 guests for the day".

Three sub-24-metre yachts will be available to bid on, including a 20.3-metre Bertram called Little John II, a 13-metre Pardo called Trouble and a 12-mere Axopar called Cheeky II.

The 31.6-metre Gulf Craft Legacy will also be available to view during the auction, with "a chance to snap her up before 17 August 2023 through expressions of interest", according to Ahoy Club.

Viewings will be taking place on all vessels prior to the auction in Sydney.
