Turkish yard Alia Yachts has announced the sale of a 43-metre, full-custom yacht known as Project Triple X. Construction is already underway at its facilities in Antalya, with delivery scheduled for 2026.
The "world cruiser" has been designed by Vripack for a family that intends to take extensive voyages, spending up to two months on board at a time. As a result, energy efficiency was an integral part of the brief to reduce the yacht's carbon footprint.
"The client’s wish is to explore the world with no limitations. They wanted a boat that would deliver on that dream and not hold them back," explained Marnix Hoekstra, co-creative director of Vripack. "They asked for a sexy, sporty explorer, and I believe that is exactly what Project Triple X is; capable of going through ice, adaptable in hot climates and super comfortable at sea."
Accommodation is across four guest cabins, while the bridge deck – featuring a private deck area, a master cabin with a walk-in wardrobe and a separate office – is primarily dedicated to the owner. Other key features include folding bulwarks amidships that reveal a tender area capable of storing an eight-metre beach lander. The garage becomes a "chill out zone" when these balconies are deployed, separated from the dining room by a wall of glass and adjacent to a gym. Another relaxation area is the sundeck which features a Jacuzzi, observation seating, bar and grill.
"It’s a pleasure to work on a third project with Vripack, the designers of the 54.9-metre Al Waab and our 60-metre flagship currently in build that is due to launch next year," said Alia president, Gökhan Çelik. "With this latest contract, we currently have six custom projects in various stages on construction, from newly started to nearing delivery, proving that Alia Yachts continues to impress the global market for bespoke superyachts."
This summer, Alia Yachts launched a full custom 52.5-metre yacht known as the Sea Club 53. A highlight is its 50-square-metre storage area which houses 20 modular waterpark elements, allowing crew to create a complex new setup every day.
