The second hull in Ada Yacht Works’ 50-metre 50Z series, known as NB102, has begun construction at the shipyard in Bodrum. The 497GT yacht was sold by Aqua Marina Yacht and will follow in the footsteps of hull one, which entered construction in February.
Both hulls have been designed by Uldas Yacht Design and are characterised by a straight bow, full displacement hull and clean exterior lines leading to a cascading aft deck. Naval architecture is owed to Ginton Naval Architects with engineering work by Norse Design and Sahinler Denizcilik responsible for the outfitting.
Accommodation will be for up to 12 guests across six cabins, plus ten crew. In a departure from the first unit's design, NB102 has been built with two owner's cabins. The first is found on the main deck forward, fitted with a private balcony allied to the Jacuzzi and oversized windows that allow for ocean views, even when lying in bed.
The second owner's cabin is located on the upper deck aft, facing a private terrace complete with loungers, a Jacuzzi and a bar. With contemporary, airy interior styling done by Luca Dini, all rooms feature wide windows, which allow for naturally bright interiors and panoramic views from several areas on board.
Elsewhere, an open-air beach club is complete with a plunge pool and hydraulic wings. Once deployed, the wings will expand the beach club area over the water, which is surrounded by loungers, a bar and a Teppanyaki area. The NB102 also features a second swimming pool on the foredeck, wrapped by fixed sun pads. Another new feature seen on this model is the convertible gym area, added on the lower deck.
The second hull will reach a top speed of 15 knots once completed, thanks to her twin 1,325hp engines. She is expected to be delivered in June 2025.
