Italian yacht builder Palumbo Superyachts has announced the sale of a new 38 metre motor yacht, the Extra 126 by ISA Yachts, to a European owner.
Designed inside and out by Francesco Guida, the Extra range presents large volumes compared to its compact LOA. The design brief aims for maximum comfort, low fuel consumption on long-range cruising and outdoor living spaces that foster a connection with the sea.
The Extra 126 will accommodate up to 12 guests in five cabins, attended to by a crew of seven. The hull and superstructure will be built entirely in aluminium.
Powered by two MAN engines of 1,029 kW giving, she will have a maximum speed of 17 knots, a cruising speed of 15 knots and a range of more than 2,500 nautical miles at 12 knots.
The new Extra 126 is the second yacht to be built in this new series. The first was the recently delivered 23 metre Extra 76 motor yacht, named One. The Extra series by ISA Yachts also includes 86, 93 and 116 models.
Hull one of the Extra 126 by ISA yachts is in build and will be delivered to her owner in 2019.
The Extra series represents an evolution in the growth of Palumbo Superyachts. Palumbo acquired ISA Yachts' Ancona shipyard in 2016. ISA is one of three brands owned and marketed by Palumbo Superyachts, managed by Giuseppe Palumbo. The others are Columbus Yachts, which specialises in the design and construction of semi-custom and custom superyachts, and Palumbo Superyachts Refit, which focuses on superyacht refit and after-sales activities.
