The 49.9-metre Westport motor yacht Gigi has joined the market with Mark Osterhaven of Worth Avenue Yachts.
Built in GRP and delivered by the US yard Westport in 2010, the fully wheelchair-accessible yacht, designed throughout by Donald Starkey, was refitted in 2024, with new teak decks and soft furnishings added. She was repainted at Rybovich in 2020 and bridge electronics were replaced in 2021. Naval architecture for the Westport 164 model is by William Garden.
Accommodation is provided for an owner's party of 12 in six cabins, the full-beam master suite having an office and private lounge. Her VIP king stateroom boasts a private balcony and there are a further two king-bedded cabins, two convertible twins and one twin-bunked cabin on the lower deck. An elevator serves all four decks, including the sundeck. Crew quarters allow for a team of up to 10.
Gigi's formal dining room with a 12-seater table is positioned forward of the main saloon that opens to the aft deck. Up on the bridge deck, there is more seating, a card table and television, plus direct access to the inviting al fresco dining table and bar. Skylights in the solid bimini top give a bright ambience with some protection while the Jacuzzi, bordered by sunpads, is fully exposed to sunlight forward, enjoying views ahead.
Gigi's interior design is described as "contemporary yet understated", with madrona burl and anigre woods and a warm colour palette with inlays of maple, pear and ebony, showcasing Westport's craftsmanship skills. Michael Homchick of the Pacific Northwest crafted the stone installation, including onyx in the bathrooms.
Twin 3,650hp MTU diesels push the 499GT, ABS-classed yacht for sale to a top speed of 22 knots and a cruising speed of 18 knots.
Gigi is asking $28,500,000 and is on display at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show.
