The 41.8 metre motor yacht Bandido, listed for sale by Chris Collins at Ocean Independence, has been sold in an in-house deal.
Built in GRP by US yard Westport to a design by Jack Sarin, she was delivered in 1989 with several upgrades since, most recently in 2016. An interior in warm maple paneling and cabinetry has accommodation for eight guests in four cabins consisting of a master suite on the main deck, two doubles with queen sized beds and a twin, all with full en-suite bathroom facilities. In addition, the captain's cabin, located in the guest area, can serve as a fifth guest suite.
A major refit in 2008 included all new audio/visual equipment and upgraded electronics, an extended swim platform, as well as a completely reconfigured top deck. Her semi-enclosed flybridge — complete with wet bar and large lounge area seating up to 20 guests — now adjoins her open deck aft, which houses a large Jacuzzi and custom barbecue area. Twin 1,500hp Caterpillar engines give her a cruising speed of 16 knots.
Bandido was asking $1,950,000.
