The 25.3 metre sailing yacht Wally One, listed for sale by Bernard Gallay Yacht Brokerage, has been sold with the buyer introduced by Ibiamare International in Spain.
Built in epoxied wood by Italian yard Sangermani to a design by Luca Brenta, Wally One was delivered in 1991 as the first ever Wally yacht, named Wallygator. An interior by Luca Bassani accommodates up to 11 guests in four cabins comprising a master suite and three twins, all with Pullman berths and en suite shower facilities. In addition, the crew quarters sleep three members of staff.
The large main saloon has a dining table to port and a U-shaped settee to starboard facing an entertainment centre including a large screen Samsung television set and a stereo surround sound system. For comfortable al fresco entertainment, viewing and dining, the teak decked guest cockpit is always available.
On the technical side, Wally One is fitted with a carbon spar and boom, Spectra running rigging, a wardrobe of Bank sails and a full electronics suite by Simrad. A major technical and cosmetic refit in 2015 saw all her equipment repaired or replaced, meaning that her new owner takes delivery of a turnkey yacht, ready for summer cruising.
Wally One was asking €1,190,000.
