The 54.17 metre explorer Project BowSprit has been listed for sale by Benjamin Bensahel at Camper & Nicholsons.
Currently under construction and due for delivery in 2023, BowSprit will be the first yacht launched from Vittoria Yachts, a new division of Italian builder Vittoria Shipyard which specialises in military and commercial vessels.
Project BowSprit has been designed by Hydro Tec as a world-girdling explorer characterised by large portrait windows, an aft deck helipad granted by a pool with a floor that can be raised and lowered as required, and a trawler-style bowsprit. The design sits under the 500GT threshold and offers guests three decks to roam.
A flexible interior layout offers accommodation for up to 12 guests split across five cabins, including a full-beam master forward and removable panelling that can split one of the guests cabins into two. Further accommodation sleeps a crew of eight.
Unusually, the tender bay sits amidships on the lower deck, allowing room for a 140 square metre ‘beach deck’ which can be used to store toys when underway or as a sun lounge complete with a five-metre pool and fold-down bulwarks. A second pool sits on the sundeck with sun pads to either side and a swim-up bar. The deck is complete and a crow’s nest located above a hard top.
The yacht will have a range of over 6,000 nautical miles with four zero speed stabilisers for supreme comfort both at anchor and underway. Power will come from two MTU 16V 2,000hp M61 engines for a maximum speed of 16 knots.
Project BowSprit is asking €22,500,000.
