Keiran Russell at Quadrant Yachts in New Zealand confirms the sale of the 25m expedition yacht Savannah acting with Marine Auctions in Brisbane, Australia.

Savannah was designed by John Harrhy and custom built in 2011 as a long range cruiser and expedition superyacht. Powered by twin 300hp Perkins engines, Savannah has an impressive range of 10,000 nautical miles at 10 knots. A water capacity of 10,000 litres means that she can be self sufficient for three months of cruising.

Her designer included many features found on much larger yachts including the ability to cruise from the Antarctic to the Arctic and to be comfortable in tropical latitudes. Savannah accommodates 12 guests in a master suite and five double staterooms, all with flat screen television screens and en suite facilities.

Sold to an Australian, Savannah was asking $2.4 million.
