Price drop on Wally sailing yacht Tonemai

22 March 2019 • Written by Malcolm Maclean

The 24 metre sailing yacht Tonemai, listed for sale by Wally Brokerage, has had a price reduction of €500,000.

Built in carbon composite by Wally Yachts with naval architecture by Farr Yacht Design, Tonemai was delivered in 2004 and most recently refitted in 2017. An interior in bleached teak by Lazzarini Pickering accommodates up to seven guests in three cabins comprising a master suite and two twins plus a Pullman berth. All cabins have entertainment centres and full en suite facilities while a further two cabins sleep four crewmembers aboard this yacht for sale.

Tonemai is now asking €2,000,000

The Wally concept of a terrace-on-the-sea enables easy access to the deck areas from the main saloon aft while fore and aft cockpits provide sheltered nooks to enjoy al fresco meals. A central skylight runs from the mast all the way to the terrace on the sea, flooding the interiors with natural light, while the aft coamings are teak covered to blend in with the rest of the deck, thus making the yacht lines even more sleek.

Tonemai reaches ten knots of speed upwind in eight knots of breeze. Her cruising comfort is enhanced by simple operation with a Marten Marine in-furling boom and a furling, self-tacking jib. She has a clean profile with flush desks and all main halyards and sheets running under the deck. Under power, a 250hp Yanmar diesel engine allows a cruising speed of 11 knots.

Tonemai is now asking €2,000,000.
