The 56 metre sailing yacht Zenji, listed for sale by Alex Busher and Dirk Johnson at Edmiston & Company, has been sold in-house.
One of the newer breed of Perini Navi yachts, she was built in aluminium to a Ron Holland design and delivered in 2004 with a full upgrade and repaint in 2019. ABS classed and MCA compliant, her satin finished cherrywood interior sleeps up to 14 guests in six staterooms, all with full en suite facilities.
The aft cockpit features a large oval dining table for up to twelve guests and generous serving space. The seating area forward of this is arranged for casual lounging and entertaining, oriented towards a 103-inch wide screen Panasonic television set. To starboard forward from the saloon is a private dining saloon with seating for up to ten guests around an oval table. To port of the saloon is the media lounge. A Sony 42-inch high definition plasma television screen is the focal point of this media room.
Another feature that Zenji offers, which owners and guests will quickly learn to appreciate, is the fold-down side shell boarding platform which provides easy boarding access to the tenders from a protected and secure area port side aft. Under power, her top speed is 16 knots and she boasts a maximum cruising range of 3,700 nautical miles at 13 knots with power coming from two 1,239hp Deutz-MWM TBD616V12 diesel engines.
Zenji was asking $17,900,000.
