The 24.9-metre Oyster 825 sailing yacht ENSO is now a joint central agency, listed for sale with Steve Ashford of CSO Yachts and Tom Roberts of Ocean Independence.
Delivered by leading British brand Oyster in 2016, the sloop-rigged yacht was refitted in 2021 and the broker pointed out that she is number six of a limited series built between 2002 and 2017. Her design is by renowned Humphreys Yacht Design, with engineering by Oyster, and she was built of composite GRP to DNV class.
Accommodation is for up to 11 guests in four en suite cabins comprising a full-beam master aft, a double and two convertible twins, each twin having two Pullman berths. One of the twins could be converted into a captain's cabin, to complement the two crew berths, should more crew be required.
The cockpit is protected by a folding spray hood and bimini, and flows smoothly into the saloon, which is finished in American white oak. The saloon, with its high deckhead, benefits from vertical hull ports, as does the master cabin, giving plenty of natural light. Twin helm stations are positioned aft of the guests' cockpit, where tables can be unfolded for al fresco meals well away from the sailing gear. ENSO's galley and laundry are fitted out for world cruising with a Miele oven, hob and microwave as well as Miele washing and drying machines.
ENSO's carbon mast and carbon furling boom were surveyed in 2021. A number of new North Sails were added to her sail wardrobe in 2022. With high-end equipment throughout, the sloop is ready for leisurely Mediterranean summer sailing or fast, round-the-world blue water cruising.
The 73GT yacht for sale has a single 305hp Cummins that gives her a cruising speed of nine knots and a maximum speed of 12 knots. On passages, she can comfortably log 250 nautical miles per day under sail. ENSO is offered freshly polished and antifouled after her annual yard maintenance and has only been used privately since new.
ENSO is now asking €3,950,000 and lying in Barcelona, Spain.
