Sam Buheiry at Ocean Drive in France tells me he's sold the eco-friendly 26m motor yacht Solar in an in-house deal.
Built by Italian yard Arcadia Yachts and delivered in 2010, Solar is aptly named as a series of solar panels built into her superstructure, which provide enough power to feed the refrigerators and deep freezers. Notwithstanding her green credentials, Solar has voluminous interiors and a large aft deck of 60 square metres. Accommodation is for eight guests in two double and two twin cabins, all with en suite bathrooms, and she’s powered by twin 730hp MAN engines.
Now renamed Good Life and available for charter, Solar was asking €2.6 million.
