The 24.25 metre Ocean Alexander motor yacht Soundings has been listed for sale by Niel Steenkamp at Worth Avenue Yachts.
Built in GRP by Taiwanese yard Ocean Alexander to a design by Ed Monk Jr, Soundings was delivered in 2010 as a skylounge model. An interior in teak panelling welcomes six guests into three cabins. These include an amidships master suite, a twin cabin and a double VIP suite in the bow, all with Samsung television screens and full en suite bathroom facilities. Meanwhile, her crew quarters allow for a staff of two people.
The saloon is very large with comfortable custom furniture, a large teak Hi/Low coffee table, a full entertainment centre and a custom bar cabinet with Waterford Crystal glasses mounted in a break-proof glassed cabinet. There is also an ice maker, wine cooler and wine cabinet along with ample storage.
The flybridge has seating for large groups with a teak table for dining or cocktails. There is a full-sized propane gas barbecue grill behind the skylounge while the helm chairs are Stidd custom seats. Meanwhile, the cockpit is set up for fishing with major fish equipment. Twin 1,000hp Caterpillar diesel engines allow a cruising speed of 14 knots topping out at 16 knots and she is fitted with zero speed stabilisers.
Soundings is asking $2,975,000.
