The 30 metre motor yacht Maximus, listed for sale by Maarten ten Holter at Fraser, has been sold with Rytis Babravicius of Camper & Nicholsons International introducing the buyer.
Previously known as Darsea, she was built in steel and aluminium by Dutch yard Moonen and launched in 2008 as the first in a highly successful custom series of Moonen 97' displacement cruisers. She features handsome lines from René van der Velden and an open interior from Art-Line accommodates eight guests in a master suite, VIP suite and two twin cabins, all with entertainment centres and en suite bathroom facilities.
On the main deck her spacious saloon features dramatic, contemporary styling by Art-Line Interior Design. Wenge wood joinery along with light-hued fabrics and high-end designer furniture come together to make a singular yachting presentation.
The low profile and design of the flybridge adds volume throughout, enabling a large master suite below as well as guest rooms, plus increased stowage. This also allows for a longer aft deck lounging area, plus increased room below for chartering operations. Twin 600hp Caterpillar engines give her a cruising speed of 12 knots and a range of 4,000 nautical miles
Maximus was asking €4.9 million.
