The 28-metre motor yacht Heliad III has joined the market with Felix Sowerbutts of Christie Yachts.
The displacement yacht was built of steel and aluminium in 2020 by Dutch yard Lynx Yachts, with naval architecture and design by the well-established Diana Yacht Design. Her traditional exterior is styled by Bernd Weel Design.
Accommodation is for a party of eight, with the owner's cabin on the main deck forward and two twin cabins and a double full-beam VIP cabin on the lower deck. There are quarters for a crew of up to four in two cabins forward, adjacent to a crew mess. Heliad III's finishes are in various shades of brown, from the leather bedheads to wood veneers and floor coverings.
The saloon at main deck level, boasting leather sofas port and starboard, leads forward and down a few steps – the engine room is below the sole – to an eight-seater dining table opposite the enclosed galley, diners on the bench seating benefiting from a TV screen recessed into the bulkhead.
A staircase from the large swimming platform leads guests up to the aft deck where they can enjoy outdoor dining. Up top, the sundeck is separated into two zones with relaxation aft and a raised flybridge helm station forward of the mast. Forward of the wheelhouse is another generous teak-decked area, where guests may recline, enjoying an even more commanding view forward than the wheelhouse offers.
The broker pointed out that Heliad III has "Commercial registration and a sub-24m loadline length" so is "perfectly placed for both private and charter operations".
The 101GT yacht for sale is powered by twin Cummins diesels giving her a maximum speed of 12 knots and cruising speed of 10 knots. Economical cruising range is 1,810 nautical miles.
Lying in Cannes, France, Heliad III is asking €3,250,000.
