The 85.1 metre Lürssen motor yacht Solandge, listed for sale with Moran Yacht & Ship, has been sold in the biggest brokerage deal of the year so far. SSH Maritime represented the buyer.
In a statement, the broker added: "We would like to take this opportunity to congratulate her new owner and thank her former owner for recognising our expertise in selling large quality yachts and entrusting us with the sale of Solandge."
Solandge was delivered in 2013 and went on to win the ‘La Belle Classe Superyachts’ award from the Monaco Yacht Club at the 2014 Monaco Yacht Show. She also won ‘Best Exterior’ at the Monaco Yacht Show Awards and was a finalist at the 2014 ShowBoats Design Awards and World Superyacht Awards.
Designed for pure enjoyment, Solandge is based on a similar engineering platform to that of Phoenix 2, Ace and Quatroelle, but she’s a truly custom superyacht. Accommodation is for 16 guests in eight elegant staterooms, while her interior volume totals 2,988GT.
Her Espen Øino-designed exterior blends aggressive hard lines with soft shapes to create a complementary language that exudes energy. Each deck of Solandge has a particular function: the top deck has an outdoor cinema and nightclub with a DJ deck, there’s an indoor/outdoor gym on the main deck with a private seating area in front of the owner’s suite and a full dive centre, tender garage and sauna have been expertly accommodated in the lower deck.
Inside, Solandge is bursting with bright colour and boasts a multifunctional saloon of more than 172 metres square that is unbroken by supports. The Eileen Rodriguez-designed interior features a floor-to-ceiling panel of backlit amethyst quartz, a large bar decked with amethyst and honey onyx and a massive dining table fitted under chandeliers dripping with amethyst and rose quartz. The atrium lobby that divides the yacht is dominated by a 15 metre lit sculpture that runs the entire height of the boat.
The five guest cabins each have a different colour scheme: one can be converted into a guest office or media centre and the VIP suite can be transformed from one cabin into two. The master suite, located on the deck above, boasts 180-degree views overlooking the bow. The suite has a private office, a dressing room and bathroom and a private spa pool and outdoor seating area.
Other stunning features of Solandge include one of the best on board spas — featuring a sauna, steam room, massage room and beauty salon that connects the gym to the outdoor swimming pool. The sun deck is large with one of the best superyacht pools, a horseshoe-shaped bar and a bed-sized platform piled high with cushions.
Solandge was asking €155,000,000 with Moran Yacht & Ship.
