The 30 metre Jongert ketch rigged sailing yacht Impression, listed for sale by Jeroen van der Vliet at Van der Vliet Quality Yachts, has been sold in a direct deal.
Built in steel and aluminium by Dutch yard Jongert to a design by Doug Peterson, she was delivered to her current owner in 1995 as a Jongert 26T model. An interior by Peter Sijm accommodates six guests in three cabins below deck aft consisting of a full-beam master suite and two half-beam twin cabins, all with en-suite shower facilities.
On deck, she features a raised helm and a seating area around the table aft of the mizzen mast. The spacious deckhouse, one of the most popular areas on board with a great view out of the large windows, is just a few steps away from the outside raised helm position and incorporates a dining table to port and the inside helm position with a separate navigation table to starboard. The deckhouse offers access to the large main saloon, incorporating an extendable dining table to starboard and a sociable bar to port. There is also a full entertainment centre incorporating a 32-inch Sony television screen with a Bose surround sound stereo system.
She has sun awnings for the bow, deckhouse and aft deck areas along with an additional simple dedicated awning for covering the seating area while sailing. Under power, a 299hp MTU diesel engine gives her a cruising speed of 8 knots.
Impression was asking €1,200,000.
