The 43 metre explorer motor yacht Axantha II, listed for sale by Maarten Ten Holter at Fraser, has been sold with the buyer introduced by Jeremy Comport at Ocean Independence.
Built in aluminium by French yard JFA Yachts to a design by Vripack, she is Bureau Veritas classed and was delivered in 2011. A classic interior in American cherry wood accommodates 11 guests in five cabins consisting of a full-beam master suite, a VIP suite, a double and two twins, all with entertainment centres, LCD television screens and en-suite bathroom facilities. In addition, there are quarters for eight crew.
The saloon has large windows allowing for panoramic views and plenty of natural light, and comes with flooring in natural teak and cream coloured carpets.The saloon also includes a bar with four stools and an entertainment centre including a Sony flat-screen retractable television. Forward is a dining area with seating for eight guests.
The main aft deck has an oval table seating 12 guests, a bar, ice maker and sink, and can be sheltered against wind and rain in inclement weather. Two sets of stairs lead down to a broad swim platform. Up on the upper aft deck, more al fresco entertaining and dining is on offer with comfortable couches and chairs, coffee tables and a range of sun loungers.
Restful long-range cruising is available via twin 750hp Cummins diesel engines giving her a tremendous range of 8,000 nautical miles at 11.3 knots.
