The 41.5-metre Intermarine motor yacht Fortitude, listed for sale by Denison Yachting, is now to be auctioned with Jack Mahoney of Boathouse Auctions. Prospective buyers prequalify to bid by placing a deposit into an escrow account, with bidding opening on 17 October and ending at 16.00pm (ET) on 22 October
Built in GRP by US yard Intermarine to a design by Luiz de Basto, she was delivered in 1998 with a full refit in 2018-2019. ABS classed, she features a Marc Michaels interior sleeping 10 guests in five cabins, featuring a master suite, VIP stateroom, two doubles and a twin.
The main saloon is spacious, offering several different seating areas with plush sofas, occasional chairs and a full entertainment system. The dining area is separate, where up to 10 guests can enjoy formal dining at a circular table. On the upper deck is the skylounge, with a games table, comfortable sofas to relax on and a sit-up bar.
Fortitude's large sundeck comes with curved seating forward, an excellent spot for viewing while underway. There is also a table for casual dining, a fully-equipped bar, a large inviting Jacuzzi spa pool and six large fixed sunbeds further aft.
Her top speed is 21 knots and she boasts a maximum cruising range of 3,500 nautical miles at 10.5 knots with power coming from twin 2,285hp MTU 12V396TE94 diesel engines.
Bidding on Fortitude will start at $3,000,000 with an undisclosed reserve price. Boathouse Auctions pointed out that "all bidding is transparent and shown to all in real time".
