The 27.7-metre Cantiere delle Marche motor yacht Icon has been sold by Carlo Aquilanti of the shipyard's pre-owned sales department in an off-market deal, with the broker representing both buyer and seller. Under new ownership she has been renamed Como.
Icon was built in GRP by the Cantiere delle Marche shipyard in 2014 and delivered as one of two Nauta Air 90 models known as Noga. She was entirely designed by Mario Pedol and Massimo Gino of Nauta Design.
Accommodation for eight guests is provided in four suites, all on the lower deck, comprising two doubles and two twins. Crew quarters include two cabins for a team of four to five. The saloon and dining area are open plan at main deck level, sharing a bar and high-end entertainment system. This space flows out to the aft deck which features built-in seating, a casual dining or cocktail table and steps down to the swimming platform.
Forward of the saloon a few steps lead up to the helm station, its purposeful, near-vertical windscreens shaded by the overhanging "eyebrow". Instruments are unashamedly traditional in appearance, the philosophy being to navigate safely rather than impress guests with flashy display screens or raked windscreens. The feel of the whole interior, with its gloss woodwork, is contemporary but nautical.
Como's flying bridge boasts 65 square metres of deck space, including sunpads, barbecue, wine cooler, ice maker, bar, al fresco dining area and ample chairs for lounging in are protected from the sun by a rigid bimini top. A tender and crane are located here too.
Designed for long and tranquil cruising, Como has a 3,600 nautical range at 10 knots under her twin 885hp Caterpillar C18 Acert engines. Maximum speed is 16 knots and cruising speed 13.5 knots.
The asking price for Icon, now Como, was not disclosed.
