The 39.8 metre motor yacht Happy T, listed for sale by Peter Hurzeler at Ocean Independence, has been sold with the buyer introduced by Andrew Bond at Fraser.
Designed by Omega Architects, she was built in steel and aluminium to ABS class by Dutch superyacht yard Heesen and delivered in 2001 with an extensive nine-month refit in 2011 and again in 2017.
Happy T is a comfortable family yacht with an extensive cruising range. Her aft deck has a large seating area and leads into the main saloon with ample seating for nine guests, an entertainment centre and a formal dining area for 10 guests. Up on the sun deck is a bar and more seating — this time for al fresco dining and outdoor relaxation.
Accommodation is for eight guests and six crew. The master suite with a study is located on the main deck while below is a full-beam VIP suite and a double and twin. All cabins have en-suite bathroom facilities while the master and VIP suites have flatscreen televisions and there is a Sonos sound system throughout.
In 2011 her bottom was fully sandblasted and given a completely new anti-corrosive paint treatment. Superstructure and hull repainting include a full 545 epoxy primer over coating after corrosion treatment and a re-fairing touch up.
Twin Caterpillar 825hp engines give her a range of 4,000 nautical miles at nine knots.
Happy T was asking €7,900,000 with VAT paid.
