The 39.8-metre yacht Lady Lucy is newly listed for sale with Jeremy Comport and Jack Gradus of Ocean Independence.
First launched as Jangada and delivered in 2001, Lady Lucy was constructed in steel and aluminium by Dutch shipyard Heesen Yachts. She owes her exterior design to Omega Architects, with interior lines penned by Velendric. The yacht has benefitted from several refits and upgrades, the latest in 2022.
Following a refit period and a full repaint in 2020, Lady Lucy’s exterior profile features a classic white superstructure, a navy hull and a defining red boot stripe. According to her broker, Lady Lucy “will continue to present in wonderful condition for years to come”.
As for her interior styling, Lady Lucy offers a refined and contemporary design, with light-coloured furnishings and dark wood finishes. The living spaces are enhanced with deep red accents incorporated into the furnishings. Large windows across her structure allow natural light to brighten the interior areas, with guests able to enjoy far-reaching views while underway.
Lady Lucy offers accommodation for up to eight guests across four suites. The master suite is located on the main deck, while the lower deck includes a full-beam VIP suite and two double cabins.
The main saloon features an open-plan layout with a spacious seating area, furnished with light-coloured sofas and armchairs arranged around a coffee table. Beyond the lounge is a dining table, creating a flow for socialising and entertaining between spaces. The yacht also benefits from an elevator connecting all three decks.
Outdoor spaces include a Jacuzzi on the sundeck, a bar and an alfresco dining area. Across her decks, there is plenty of room for lounging and dining, complemented by a beach club, gym, and generous tender storage space.
On the technical side, the yacht for sale is powered by twin 825hp Caterpillar engines, delivering a cruising speed of 10 knots and a top speed of 12.3 knots. Built with a displacement hull, she is well-suited to long-range cruising.
