The 55.7-metre Feadship motor yacht Illusion I has been sold, with Stig Jensen of SuperYachtsMonaco representing the seller and Filip Jerolimov of IYC introducing the buyer.
Delivered in 1983, Illusion I was constructed in steel and aluminium by Dutch yard Feadship to a design from Frits De Voogt. In 2010, she underwent a major refit at Pendennis, which included a five-metre extension to make way for a new beach club and garage, alongside other major works including a fresh interior from Bannenberg & Rowell and renewed teak decks.
Accommodation on board is for up to 12 guests in six cabins comprising a master suite and VIP on the main deck and two doubles and two twins below on the lower deck. Meanwhile, there are quarters for up to 14 crew members.
Illusion I's expansive main saloon features a warm décor with several separate seating areas for small groups or large social events, each served by a generous bar. Forward lies a large oval dining table with seating for up to 12 guests.
In addition to the beach club extension and interior refresh, her 2010 refit also saw several enhancements made to her exterior areas, with Illusion I now boasting a vast aft deck featuring a 12-seat dining table and full bar. Up on the sun deck, there is even more entertainment space, helped by a Jacuzzi, sunpads and additional dining area.
Twin 1,125hp Caterpillar diesel engines give the classic motor yacht a range of 3,500 nautical miles at 12 knots.
Illusion I was last asking €7,950,000. The brokers noted a special thanks to Unique Yachting Oy for their assistance in the sale.
