Feadship's 46.2-metre motor yacht Excellence V has been listed for sale with Dirk Johnson of Edmiston following a major refit completed in 2024.
Delivered in 2014, Excellence V was constructed in aluminium by the Dutch shipyard to a design by the late Ed Dubois, which is characterised by a near-vertical bow and gently-sweeping sheer. Her contemporary interior is by British studio RWD, while Dubois Naval Architects were also responsible for her naval architecture.
Her recent refit was extensive and comprised significant works including the zero-hour rebuild of both generators, a new sewage treatment plant, the fitting of refreshed sun deck furniture and completion of her 10-year Lloyd’s survey.
Excellence V provides accommodation for up to 10 guests in five cabins, with "expansive views" from the owner's main deck cabin, thanks in part to an expansive area of glass in the bulwarks. In addition to large windows, the owner's suite benefits from the yacht's full 9-metre beam and features his and hers en suite bathrooms in addition to a spacious dressing room.
The remaining guest accommodation is comprised of two VIP cabins and two twins located on the lower deck, all with en suite. Well-appointed quarters provide accommodation for a crew of eight.
RWD has created a "warm and refined atmosphere" on board, according to her brokers, with her interiors characterised by a careful combination of white marble, bleached oak, stainless steel and Macassar ebony.
A highlight of her interiors is the main saloon, complete with "innovative rotating seating", allowing guests to admire the views at every angle. Here, there is also a bar that extends from the main saloon out onto the aft deck, perfect for entertaining larger groups of friends.
Outside, her sundeck is "virtually unmatched" due to its versatile design, which allows the al fresco dining and lounge space to either be fully open air or semi-enclosed and air-conditioned.
On the aft deck, there is casual lounging with sofas and furnishings, with steps leading to a swim platform for direct access to the water. Also on the lower deck, there is a garage for quick and convenient access to her Williams tender and 4.2-metre inflatable rescue boat.
Powered by twin 1,902hp Caterpillar engines, the 406GT yacht for sale has an impressive top speed of 19 knots, while her cruising speed of 15 knots allows for a range of 3,000 nautical miles. She is also equipped with Quantum zero-speed stabilisers for comfort underway and at anchor.
Excellence V is asking $42,000,000. She is currently en route to Palm Beach in advance of the upcoming Palm Beach International Boat Show, where she will be on display.
