The 24.69 metre Cheoy Lee motor yacht Sweet Melissa III, listed for sale by Gregg Somerville at Denison Yachting, has been sold with the buyer introduced by Pam Barlow of Luke Brown Yachts.

Built in GRP by Chinese yard Cheoy Lee to a design by Tom Fexas, she was delivered in 1998 and most recently refitted in 2020. Accommodation is for eight guests in four cabins consisting of a master suite, a VIP suite with a queen sized bed, a double to port and a twin to starboard, all with entertainment centres and en suite bathroom facilities.

Sweet Melissa III was asking $1,200,000

In the main saloon, forward of the entertainment centre to starboard is a newly recovered couch with a matching recovered couch to port, with two coffee tables of lacquered burl wood in front of each couch. All of the carpeting has been recently replaced along with newer headliners and newer wall coverings. In the dining area, to starboard is a well-equipped bar made of cherry and burl woods with a black Corian style top and plenty of storage, including a refrigerator and ice maker.

The aft deck offers endless opportunities for al fresco dining, equipped with built in upholstered seating, a pedestal mounted table and three teak chairs. Steps lead down to the fishing cockpit which has a built-in bait tank, six stainless steel rod holders and several storage lockers.

Her top speed is 24 knots and her power comes from two 1,350hp Caterpillar 3412TAE diesel engines.
