BYS sells Burger luxury yacht Ar-De with Northrop & Johnson

Things are moving as I hear that Julien Elfenbein at BYS represented the buyer in the sale of the 30.4m classic aluminium Burger motor yacht Ar-De, listed for sale by Chris Chumley at Northrop & Johnson.

Designed by Don O’Keefe, Ar-De was built for experienced owners with worldwide cruising in mind. Delivered in 1996, she has accommodation for six guests in a full beam master suite plus a double and a twin cabin. All staterooms have en suite bathrooms.

Ar-De features an open plan interior by Barbara Wagner and Benson Design, with hideaway window shades, abundant storage and screens on all opening doors and ports. Butternut wood, hand-finished with raised panels, is used for bulkheads and furniture to create a warm, rich interior. Twin 1,250hp Caterpillar engines give her a cruising speed of 17 knots and a range of 3,000 nautical miles.

Lying in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Ar-De was asking $2,395,000.
