Whit Kirtland at Bradford Marine Yacht Sales tells me he's closed on the sale of the 37.5m flybridge motor yacht Camelot.
Designed by De Vries Lentsch, she was built by Dutch superyacht yard Royal Huisman and launched in 1985. A thorough refit in 2009 meant a rebuild of much of her major equipment, with modern electronic and navigation systems installed. A large open aft main deck is sheltered by the overhang of the boat deck above and offers al fresco dining in eight wicker armchairs. This leads into the main saloon furnished in neutral tones and panelling in striped African mahogany. This area, with a wet bar, fridge and ice maker, is perfect for entertaining. Moving forward, the formal dining saloon offers panoramic views from three sides and an oval mahogany table seats up to ten guests.
Accommodation is for 10 guests in six staterooms. The master suite is full beam with a queen size bed and an en suite with double sinks, a bidet and spa pool. The VIP stateroom is also full beam and has a king size bed that can be split into twins. The remaining staterooms are double bedded, and all have en suite facilities.
Twin 1,090hp MTU engines give her a cruising speed of 14 knots and a range of 2,150 nautical miles.
Camelot was asking $695,000.
