The 34.3-metre sailing yacht Billy Budd is now listed for sale with Northrop & Johnson brokers Richard Callender and Gabriele Modica Ragusa.
Fresh from a 2022 refit, this classic Royal Huisman has recently benefitted from a full exterior repaint, new rigging, interior upgrades and a comprehensive machinery overhaul, leaving her in excellent condition for a new owner.
The all-aluminium sailing superyacht was originally launched in 1994 and she has proved herself to be a capable blue-water sailer ever since. She has the capacity to circumnavigate the globe and explore high-latitude cruising grounds, as proven by her epic North Passage adventure under her current ownership.
To complement her spirit of exploration, this 97GT yacht for sale has a dive compressor with equipment for seven divers, plus two tenders.
The yacht's exterior design is by Judel/Vrolijk & Co, while interiors have been completed by Pieter Beeldsnijder. She has been given a warm and comfortable "home away from home" theme with plenty of glossed woods and cream tones. There is ample storage for books and the raised main saloon lets in plenty of natural light.
Six guests are accommodated in three cabins, including a full-beam master cabin and two double cabins. There is complement for five crew located forward.
Billy Budd was built with low-impact bluewater cruising in mind.
Lying in La Spezia, Italy, Billy Budd is now asking €1,995,000 with VAT paid.
