The 46.8-metre motor yacht Giaola Lu has been sold with Antonio Yturbe Redo and Hans Van Doornmalen of Edmiston representing the seller and Arne Ploch of Camper & Nicholsons representing the buyer.
Built in steel and aluminium by Turkish yard Bilgin Yachts, Giaola Lu was delivered in 2016 to a design by H2 Yacht Design with naval architecture Unique Yacht Design. Accommodation on Giaola Lu is for up to 16 guests, with a master suite, VIP cabin, four lower deck guest cabins and an additional four Pullman berths. The full-beam master suite has a his-and-hers bathroom arrangement, a walk-in wardrobe and an office.
Large saloons can be accessed on the main deck and bridge deck through sliding glass doors, offering plenty of space for dining or lounging. A high-spec audio-visual system installed throughout offers control over curtains, music, climate control, lighting, televisions and cameras through a mobile phone app.
Her expansive sun deck is versatile, with a glass-fronted spa pool, sun loungers, sofas, a dining table and a bar. Another seating and sunbathing area can be found forward of the bridge, where there is also storage space for two jet skis.
Two tenders are stored in the superyacht tender garage, with side gull wing doors for launching, while another door opens at the transom to open up the beach club and create a large swim platform.
Powered by a pair of 1,450hp Caterpillar engines, she reaches a top speed of 16 knots and has a transatlantic range of 5,000 nautical miles at 12 knots.
Giaola Lu was asking €17,200,000.
