The 51.8 metre motor yacht Sai Ram, listed for sale by Burgess, has been sold with SSH Maritime introducing the buyer.
Built in steel and aluminium by Italian superyacht yard Benetti to Lloyds class and MCA compliant with styling by Stefano Natucci, Sai Ram was delivered in 2004.
Lazzarini Pickering designed a "Zen" interior incorporating rich textures and vibrant colours to create an enhanced sense of space throughout. She offers accommodation for up to 12 guests in a full-beam master suite with an office and double dressing rooms, an upper deck VIP suite plus two double and two twin guest cabins, each with an extra Pullman berth. All cabins have en suite bathroom facilities.
The expansive, welcoming main saloon is bright and airy with ample seating while forward is a sociable dining area with seating for 10 guests. In 2014 she received a light refit which saw her audio/visual equipment upgraded and a service to all systems aboard.
Her sun deck is divided into three large areas featuring a large aft sunbathing area, a central dining area for up to 28 guests and a forward entertaining area with a Jacuzzi, bar and barbecue. She comes with a wide range of water toys, including a custom made water slide.
The versatility of her accommodation layout and large deck areas go some way to explaining her popularity as a charter yacht.
Powered by two 1,800hp Caterpillar engines, she can reach speeds of 16 knots with a comfortable cruising pace of 13 knots.
Sai Ram was asking $19.8 million.
