The 44.6 metre Benetti motor yacht Il Sole, jointly listed for sale by Claude Niek and Mickael Mauve at CSO Yachts with Kevin Bonnie at IYC, has seen a price drop of €400,000.
Built in steel and aluminium by Italian yard Benetti to a design by Stefano Natucci, she was delivered in 1994. Immaculately maintained by the owner and a proven charter yacht, she underwent an extensive refit in 2012. This was followed by a new paint job in 2018 and a €2.7 million refit in 2019. She offers accommodation for up to 12 guests in six cabins comprising a master suite, VIP suite, three doubles and a twin cabin, all with en suite bathroom facilities She is also capable of carrying up to nine crew aboard.
The main deck saloon houses a formal dining area for up to 12 guests with a large table easily convertible into a roulette table. The media room carries a collection of books that are predominantly a mixture of modern art, fashion and interior design. Here can also be found a range of entertainment options including a projection screen, plasma television screen and a Kaleidescape DVD video system.
Moving outside, the yacht for sale features ample space for dining on each of her three decks. With a large upper deck boasting wraparound seating, this is an ideal entertaining space, benefitting from a Jacuzzi spa tub and large bar with parasols.
Powered by two new Caterpillar 2230hp diesel engines, she is powered to a top speed of 15 knots and has a comfortable range of 2,000 nautical miles when cruising at 12 knots. An advanced stabilisation system on board ensures guest comfort and safety.
