44m Benetti motor yacht HoM sold

6 October 2023 • Written by Nick Jeffery

The 43.6-metre Benetti motor yacht HoM has been sold with Andrew LeBuhn of Camper & Nicholsons representing the seller and Michael Mahan and Shannon McCoy of Worth Avenue Yachts representing the buyer.

HoM was built in GRP as a Vision 45 model and delivered in 2011. A refit between 2020 and 2021 saw her receive an interior facelift with new furniture, carpet and soft furnishings, and she was recently upgraded from private to commercial status, offering prospective owners the option to charter the vessel.

HOM was asking $13,950,000.

The interior is by Molori Design. Forward of the main saloon, which features a self-playing piano and two lounge areas, lies a full-beam master suite with a separate office and lounge area, a walk-in wardrobe and en suite bathroom with a "statement" bathtub. This suite also enjoys direct access to a private terrace on the foredeck where there is seating and a Jacuzzi.

The four remaining guest suites are positioned on the lower deck and comprise two large VIPs, one double and one twin, the latter two with additional Pullman berths that are ideal for children. Further accommodation sleeps a crew of 12.

One of HOM’s most attractive features is her generous sun deck, where an "oversized" Jacuzzi beckons a party of 10 guests. There are sun loungers, sun pads and a large table for relaxed alfresco dining.

Meanwhile, formal dining can be found on the upper deck and looks aft through full-height, semi-circular glass windows that open up to the exterior deck.

LeBuhn said: "HoM is arguably the best-kept Benetti Vision in the world. Designed by Stefano Righini, she was a winner in the 2012 ShowBoats Design Awards and, thanks to an incredibly high-end specification and meticulous standards of operation, remains one of the most desirable yachts on the water."

HoM's top speed is 15 knots, with a cruising speed of 14 knots and she has a range of 3,200 nautical miles at 12 knots, powered by twin 2,600hp Caterpillar diesel engines.

HoM was asking $13,950,000.
