A €2,000,000 price drop has been announced on the 55-metre motor yacht Papa, currently listed for sale with Burgess. Delivered in 2019, she is one of the youngest pre-owned Amels on the market and is presented fresh from a two-month revamp at her home shipyard.
Papa was built in steel and aluminium to a design by Tim Heywood and is one of Amels's popular 180 Limited Editions superyachts. MCA-classified, she has enjoyed success as a charter yacht in the Burgess fleet since her launch.
This yacht for sale can sleep a total of 10 guests across five cabins with a bright interior courtesy of Laura Sessa. A full-beam owner’s suite sits forward on the main deck and features a private office and a folding balcony to starboard that can be used for quiet morning coffees. The remaining guest accommodation is found on the lower deck, comprised of two VIP cabins and two double cabins, one of which can be rearranged as a twin.
Papa's crowning glory is a versatile, split-level sun deck, offering guests open-air dining with a Teppanyaki grill, an eight-person Jacuzzi and a flip-down television concealed in the hardtop. A touch-and-go helipad forward doubles as a sun-soaking spot with movable loungers and sun pads.
The main deck aft provides a shaded spot for guests to enjoy with a semi-circle of aft-facing sofas. Alternatively, the cool of the main saloon might tempt guests inside with a backlit bar and folding balconies so the sea never feels too far away. Up above, a media lounge features a custom-made foosball table and leads out to a second al fresco dining area.
Papa is powered by twin 1,308hp MTU diesel engines for a top speed of 14 knots and a transatlantic range of 4,500 nautical miles at 13 knots. Fin stabilisers offer steady and comfortable cruising when underway.
Papa is now asking €39,000,000.
