The 80-metre Oceanco superyacht Aalto is to be jointly marketed by Matt Pinckney at Burgess, Charles Carveles at Edmiston and James Pool of Y.CO at the Monaco Yacht Show.
Delivered in 2007 in the Netherlands, the high-volume 2,310GT, steel and aluminium vessel was designed by Nuvolari Lenard with an interior by Alberto Pinto. Azure Yacht Design and Naval Architecture developed the hull and engineering with Oceanco's in-house team. Finished in navy blue with a white superstructure, Aalto has had numerous refits, most recently in 2022 and 2024.
Aalto was a significant turning point for Oceanco who said she was "the yacht that marked the start of a new era in our yacht building activities for the growing 80-metre plus sector". She is equipped with a series of features that were still quite rare at the time of her design, such as a heated swimming pool, massage room, helipad and stabilised pool table.
Accommodation is provided for a party of 12 in eight cabins, with her owner's suite taking up almost half of the upper deck and boasting two Jacuzzis and a Portuguese bridge. There are also three VIP cabins, two doubles and two twins. The interior features light woods and cream furnishings, with colourful highlights – a Pinto trademark – including the blue circular ceiling pattern above the upper dining area.
Aalto is presently on the charter market, chartering from €775,000 per week in the Western Mediterranean. She was featured as BOAT International's charter yacht of the week earlier this year, where she was described as being "ahead of her time".
The yacht for sale has a range of 5,500 nautical miles at 14 knots, a cruising speed of 16 knots and a top speed of 20 knots. A total power of 9,360hp is provided by twin MTU diesels.
Aalto is asking €79,750,000 and presently cruising off Capri, Italy.
