The Italian Sea Group has announced that outfitting activities are progressing on its 53-metre hybrid Admiral model. The yacht is currently in build at its facilities in Marina di Carrara, Italy, with delivery expected for the first half of 2026.
The semi-custom superyacht is the third unit from the Panorama line but the first to be equipped with hybrid propulsion. She was sold in 2023 to a client from Mexico, with FGI Yacht Group representing the buyer. Construction began in April 2024.
Designed with the environment in mind, the all-aluminium yacht is powered by an "innovative" hybrid e-Motion propulsion system. The two diesel MAN engines have been paired with electric alternators and lithium polymer batteries, enabling the yacht to run in hotel model for several hours with zero emissions, limiting vibration and noise.
The Panorama model can accommodate 12 guests across six cabins comprising five suites on the lower deck forward, while an owner’s suite is found on the main deck with a panoramic view from a private terrace. Natural materials have been selected for the interiors, consisting of wood, stones and rough metals.
The yacht has space for a 7.5-metre tender plus two Jet Skis, a rescue boat and several other water toys carried in the bow garage in front of the wheelhouse.
According to BOATPro, the Admiral brand has 16 yachts either actively in construction or on order.
